Schedule: 6:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $18.00

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating plant machinery as directed, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols while producing a high-quality product.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operate and adjust machines according to job specifications.

Set machine stops or guides to precise lengths using templates, rules, or scales.

Monitor machinery to detect malfunctions or product defects.

Inspect finished product for quality, appearance, and consistency.

Perform basic machine maintenance as required.

Support setup of machines and assist team members to meet production goals.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned work area.

Operate bagging/soil line machinery.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of 1 month of related experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Strong initiative and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (team lift required over 50 lbs).

Physically capable of bending, crouching, climbing ladders, stooping, reaching, and engaging in repetitive motions.
