Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator
Location: Easton, PA

Schedule:

Rotating: Work 11 consecutive days, followed by 3 days off

Available Shifts:
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | $20.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | $21.00/hour
• Overnight: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | $22.00/hour

 

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Extrusion Machine Operator for our overnight shift. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate extrusion machines per job specifications and safety guidelines

Monitor operations for consistency in quality and output

Adjust machine settings (speed, temperature, pressure) as needed

Perform minor repairs and replace worn or broken parts

Conduct routine quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Record production data and maintain accurate shift logs

Load raw materials and monitor material feed

Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Production Manager

Identify, label, weigh, and dispose of scrap properly

Clean and maintain machines and work areas for operational efficiency

Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams

Follow all documentation and work instructions as part of the quality system

Identify and resolve basic equipment malfunctions

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift

Must wear steel toe shoes

Ability to speak, read, and write English

Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Prior experience with extrusion machinery preferred but not required
