Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-performance marine cooling systems, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting quality craftsmanship in the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Commerce, MI

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday- Friday 7AM-3:30PM

What's the Job?

Operate and maintain manual and powered machine tools including lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and arbor presses. Interpret and work from engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Use precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers to inspect parts. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve production issues.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in using precision measurement tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
