This includes equipment such as hydraulic presses, grinders, and sweepers. You will also assist with quality testing and data entry, ensuring all products meet internal specifications.ResponsibilitiesOperate a hydraulic press to compact tobacco into containersUse scales to check weight accuracy and make necessary adjustmentsApply paper lining and run filled containers through a banding machineObtain moisture samples and enter data into the LeafPoint systemSend moisture samples to the Quality department via pneumatic tube systemOperate tobacco grinder in the Quality Control (QC) LabGrind samples and label containers accuratelyClean grinder between samples to prevent cross-contaminationCheck equipment for sharpness and proper functionalityConduct quality testing using lab tools and document results in QUIMSAnalyze stem length, lamina and stem percentages, and NTRM (non-tobacco related materials)Operate an industrial floor sweeper to clean production areasPerform equipment checks and maintenance as neededComply with company safety and toxic substance screening policiesSweep and clean designated areas, disposing of debris in compliance with 5S3R policyPerform other duties as assigned by the line managerQualifications and RequirementsExperience operating manufacturing or warehouse equipment preferredAbility to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform repetitive tasksStrong attention to detail and safety protocolsMust pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenBenefits and Perks$18 an hourMedical, Dental & Vision401(k)Referral bonusesYour Career PartnerThe Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
