Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. In this position you will be operating a variety of different machines. Selection will be based on skill, ability, self-motivation, work ethic, and teamwork. Team members interested in this position and feel that they possess the qualifications required for the job, should apply online at the Parker Inside website. · Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and, CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines. · Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations. · Change offsets on CNC Machines. · Read and understand blueprints. · Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to verify product quality and integrity. · Move completed parts per standard work processes. · Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs. · Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities. · All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee. · High School Diploma or equivalent · Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist The essential functions have been provided as examples of the type of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification.
