**Now Hiring:** Machine Assembler – Sub Assembly **Location:** Farmington, CT **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime possible) **Pay Rate:** $23.00/hour **Job Type:** Long Term Contract **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled **Machine Assembler – Sub Assembly** to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in machine tool assembly or manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex sub-assembly tasks with precision and quality. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform complex mechanical assemblies using hand and power tools + Accurately measure components using inch and metric systems + Work from detailed blueprints, part lists, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics + Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues + Contribute to process improvements to boost productivity and efficiency + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Participate in team meetings and apply decisions effectively + Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards + Support lean manufacturing practices and participate in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) **Requirements:** + Minimum 2 years of experience in machine tool assembly + OR 5 years in manufacturing, maintenance, or machine tool part servicing + Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics + Familiar with documentation and part lists + Ability to use precision measuring tools + Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks + Basic computer literacy preferred + Experience with electrical wiring assembly is a plus + Forklift license is a plus **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent required As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
