Our Japanese Omakase Restaurant seeks a Maître d'hotel Hospitality Coordinator who will be the first and last impression of an extraordinary dining experience. This role requires an individual with a warm and engaging presence, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for Forbes 5-Star hospitality. You will set the tone for our guests’ journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized arrival, dining, and departure experience. With expert knowledge of seating flow and a commitment to anticipatory service, you will create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, remembering guest names and preferences to enhance every visit.

What will I be doing?

As a Maître d'hotel Hospitality Coordinator,  you will be responsible for welcoming guests and curating their dining experience in alignment with our pursuit of Forbes 5-Star standards. Specifically, you will:

\n\nEnsure a gracious, warm welcome for each guest, utilizing guest names whenever possible to create a personalized experience\nEscort guests to their seats with poise and hospitality, providing an elegant introduction to their dining journey\nMaintain an acute awareness of the dining flow, managing reservations and seating assignments to ensure a seamless experience\nCommunicate with servers and chefs to accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences\nDemonstrate a deep knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, engaging guests with insights when appropriate\nProvide anticipatory service, recognizing opportunities to elevate the guest experience before a request is made\nAssist with maintaining the pristine presentation of the entrance and dining areas, ensuring a luxurious first impression\nSupport the team with opening and closing duties and collaborate with colleagues to uphold a culture of excellence\n\n

The rate of pay for this role is $36.50 - $38.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.

\n\nExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs before they are expressed\nA polished and professional demeanor, with a passion for hospitality and guest name recognition\nAbility to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-touch environment while maintaining a gracious presence\nPrior experience in a fine dining, luxury, Forbes 5-Star, or Michelin-starred restaurant is preferred\nMust possess a valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness certification prior to being offered the position.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n\n
