Job Summary:

The LWL Value Chain Designer is responsible for the design and implementation of new processes, as well as the enhancement of existing ones, to improve performance across the entire value chain. This role involves developing a comprehensive network value-stream model that reflects the current state of the value chain and evaluates alternative configurations to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Analyze inbound, value-added, and outbound value chain activities to identify improvement opportunities.Develop business cases and capability assessments, presenting recommendations to relevant stakeholders.Implement new and improved processes and tools, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams through collaborative governance.Identify and eliminate inefficiencies and waste related to time, cost, materials, and energy.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related fieldFluent in English.

Skills:
Process Management:

Educate others on process value analysis tools and techniques.Conduct process evaluations, diagnostics, and optimizations.Exhibit comprehensive understanding of major process flows and associated challenges.Coordinate resources and efforts across multiple teams within a process.Develop business cases for new processes, including cost-benefit analyses.Apply tools and methodologies for effective process design and implementation.

Analytical Thinking:

Identify inconsistencies in data and explain variances.Prioritize and sequence actions to resolve issues.Determine root causes based on experience and research.Quantify risks, costs, and benefits before recommending solutions.Break down complex problems into manageable components.Select appropriate analytical tools based on situational needs.

Effective Communication:

Provide constructive feedback on written and oral communications.Tailor content to suit the target audience.Communicate with empathy and assertiveness.Maintain clear communication across all organizational levels.Use persuasive techniques to gain consensus.Stay focused and concise during discussions.

Problem Solving:

Document lessons learned from problem-solving initiatives.Lead teams in resolving complex issues.Apply diverse problem-solving techniques as needed.Contribute to the development of standardized problem-solving practices.Synthesize information to develop alternative solutions.Deliver effective resolutions to high-impact problems.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA):

Investigate a wide range of issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.Recommend RCA candidates in complex organizational environments.Develop corrective actions based on RCA findings.Utilize various RCA techniques including reenactment and reconstruction.Guide teams in identifying recurring issues across time and personnel.Apply multiple RCA methodologies including safety, production, process, failure, and systems-based approaches.

Additional Information:

Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.This position is five-day a week in-office model.This position will require travelling 10% working time (Domestic and International).Valid Travel Visa and PassportSponsorship for foreign candidates is not available.Domestic Relocation assistance is not available for this position.Do not forget to include a resumé in English in your profile in Workday​.
