Apply today for our LVN Scheduler opportunity. **Job Summary and Qualifications** Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse, the LVN – Central Scheduling, schedules procedures for ancillary departments for patients of various ages, obtaining all pertinent social and financial information. Staff in this job category are responsible for consideration of development issues of patients in each of the following age groups identified **What you will do in this role:** + Accepts verbal or written orders for procedures to be performed at CRMC. Completes appropriate forms in a legal manner. + Coordinates schedules with ancillary areas, surgery and radiologists, for patients having several procedures on the same day. + Exhibits thorough knowledge of the computer systems and utilizes them correctly. + Exhibits thorough knowledge of diagnostic procedures with few errors. + Knowledgeable of unique scheduling requirements and remains current on all changes as informed by coordinator, department manager, or physician. + Takes responsibility to answer voice mail messages in a timely manner. + Consistently provides the patient physician’s office with proper instructions or resources to preps required for outpatient testing. + Demonstrates the ability to obtain “prices” for test upon request. + Maintains current licensure and CPR certification and advise Department Manager when renewed. + Consistently files and distributes pre-registration documents to the pre-registration clerk + Assists registration process obtaining as much information on initial telephone call insurance or method of payment. **What qualifications you will need:** + LVN licensure required. + Basic typing skills required with ability to use computer systems required, basic course in medical terminology preferred.
