Responsibilities

The Staff LVN is an experienced practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing, patient care, and the ability to practice independently within the confines of educational preparation, physician orders, and as assigned and supervised by a registered nurse. this position works in the field making home visits to hospice patients in their homes, in skilled nursing facilities and / or in assisted living facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

At least two years of acute hospital experience OR Skilled Nursing experienceCalifornia Licensed Vocational Nurse license (CA LVN)Current and valid CPR-AHA (CT CPRBLS)Current Car Insurance with proof of liability insuranceCurrent California Driver License with clean driving record (CA DL)

Preferred Requirements:

Hospice or home health experienceSNF experienceExperience with patients at end of lice
