LVA - Production Planning Leader

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a LVA - Production Planning Leader.  This position is ONSITE Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Arden NC Eaton Facility. 

 

The LVA – SIOP and Production Planning Leader manages and provides direction in the development of monthly production schedules and in the monitoring of customer order status and shipping commitments to meet stated plant sales billed and On Time Performance objectives. They are the primary liaison between sales, materials, and manufacturing to ensure total service to our customer base. 

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

In this role:

•  Ownership of LVA production scheduling and sequencing.  This includes, but not limited to, being involved in order entry, order reconciliation, level-loading, and tracking of specific customer orders.
•  Analysis of demand complexity and appropriate action to maximize production capacity while maintaining customer on time performance expectations.
•  Partner with LVA product line leadership to understand upcoming customer demand, order trends, production capability, and growth opportunities.
•  Maintain a positive working relationship and general awareness of LVA production at Eaton’s alternate LVA manufacturing locations (Avery Creek NC, El Paso TX, and Portland OR).
•  Maintain and analyze the LVA customer backlog.  Create visuals to present information at scheduled meetings as needed with a focus on SIOP Demand and Supply.
•  Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.  Provide input as needed on favorable and unfavorable progress toward these goals. 
•  Support LVA in tasks related to Eaton’s Project Double Down and Project Foresight.
•  Ensure accurate and timely customer communications from the LVA Customer Service Team. Concisely articulate updates (both favorable and unfavorable) to customers and customer representatives.  
•  Communicate with Engineering teams to address customer BOM requirements and influence prioritization during completion of engineering milestones during LVA’s lead time cycle.  
•  Provide relevant input and feedback to Supply Chain as needed regarding component requirements, demand / customer profiles, and other material related topics.
•  Track monthly invoicing and build progress and provide report outs to Finance, Supply Chain, etc. regarding WIP inventory and Finished Goods inventory tracking.
•  Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic REQUIRED Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. 
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, supply chain, or manufacturing.
•    No relocation is being offered. Candidates must currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50-mile radius of Asheville NC to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering related field of study from an accredited institution
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer service, supply chain, or manufacturing
•    LVA product line experience
•    Project management experience
