Lube Tech- SLC, UT

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team with maintenance upkeep in Salt Lake City. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive care, especially in lube tech and general maintenance tasks. You’ll work closely with the Mechanic Supervisor to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance including: Oil changes Tire rotations and replacements Filter replacements Fluid checks and top-offs Assist with preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. Support basic mechanical repairs under supervision. Maintain vehicle appearance through cleaning and light cosmetic upkeep. Keep shop equipment and tools in working order by following usage guidelines and reporting issues. Help manage inventory by tracking supplies and assisting with orders. Record services performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. Ability to lift and move equipment and parts. Strong time management and reliability. Safety-conscious and detail-oriented. Valid driver’s license required. Personal tools and secure toolbox preferred.
