Job Description Lube Tech- SLC, UT We are seeking a dependable and energetic Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team with maintenance upkeep in Salt Lake City. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive care, especially in lube tech and general maintenance tasks. You'll work closely with the Mechanic Supervisor to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and running smoothly. Primary Responsibilities: + Perform routine maintenance including: + Oil changes + Tire rotations and replacements + Filter replacements + Fluid checks and top-offs + Assist with preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. + Support basic mechanical repairs under supervision. + Maintain vehicle appearance through cleaning and light cosmetic upkeep. + Keep shop equipment and tools in working order by following usage guidelines and reporting issues. + Help manage inventory by tracking supplies and assisting with orders. + Record services performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: + Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures. + Ability to lift and move equipment and parts. + Strong time management and reliability. + Safety-conscious and detail-oriented. + Valid driver's license required. + Personal tools and secure toolbox preferred.
