LS-DYNA Analyst
Job Description A client in the Seattle, WA area is looking for a LS-DYNA Analyst to join their team. This is a critical position for this site and for several associated programs. This role will be specifically focused on dynamic and static analysis of structures using LS-DYNA. The ideal candidate will be a LS-DYNA expert within the Aerospace Manufacturing industry and well-versed within structural analysis, finite element analysis, and stress analysis reporting. Primary tasks include building and maintaining finite element models (FEM), authoring stress analysis reports, and supporting test planning. Other common tasks include using FEA to model heat transfer, modelling pyrotechnic & pneumatic gas dynamics, and multi-body kinematics of deployable systems. This role will be 100% onsite in Mukilteo, WA and will require the ability to obtain a security clearance. 145K-200K. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements 15+ years of experience utilizing LS-DYNA within the aerospace manufacturing industry Strong experience within element formulations, material models, contact types and algorithm, and meshing methodologies Experience working with dynamic and static analysis, and with running both explicit and implicit LS DYNA solver Experience setting up and post processing analyses using LS Pre/Post Experience with material testing and material model development, including failure criterion Familiarity with internal LS-DYNA trainings - ability to sct as SME null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
