Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and their families. Obtain and interpret patient information while considering age-specific needs. Conduct patient interviews, answer healthcare-related questions, and provide counseling using available resources. Administer medications and vaccines as ordered, and stay current on immunization, flu, and allergy injection requirements. Sterilize office equipment, order and track medical supplies, and perform laboratory duties in compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards. Identify and communicate patients’ educational needs to the physician and provide instruction as requested. Assist the physician during examinations and perform specialized procedures as needed. Maintain clinical competence through participation in continuing education and documented learning experiences. Demonstrate a commitment to Service Excellence by consistently meeting the needs of patients, families, physicians, and coworkers. Deliver care that is accurate, timely, coordinated, and thorough while upholding professional and compassionate standards.
