Caregivers in this department provide dynamic patient care and comprehensive treatment plans for the best possible outcomes. **A caregiver in this position works 7:00am - 5:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Collect, document and report patient data and observations. + Implement care plans as directed by an RN and contribute to care plan revisions. + Administer medications and/or treatments authorized by a provider and observe patients for adverse reactions. + Perform routine laboratory tests. + Educate patients and family members. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program. + Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + One year of patient care experience.
