Position Description: LPN 

The LPN Inpatient responsibilities include:  

Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.  

SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.  

Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.

Requirements: 

Certifications and Licensures:  

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) 

BLS 

ACLS preferred 

Education:  

High School or Equivalent 

Experience:  

6 months Acute Care as LPN 

Or 6 months Acute Care as PCT 

Location: BayCare Alliant Hospital

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
