Under the supervision of a registered nurse, this position administers direct care to an assigned group of patients. This position should know and utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating health services and nursing care to the individual patient.

Administers medications within the scope of practice and the hospital's policies and procedures.Communicates and collaborates with members of the healthcare team.Implements the patient's plan of care with all health care disciplines.Performs and assists with procedures in a cooperative and supportive manner.Plans, assesses and evaluates patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Provides education to patient and family for information and health promotions purposes.
