Position Details:

Pay: $18.50/hr base, $2 additional premium once trained = $20.50pr/hrShift: Sunday- Thursday, 7:30pm start time (typically 8-10hr shift)In the position you will be required to do general warehouse loading and unloading of the trailers, when you are not moving trailers in the yard
Position Purpose:

The Yard Driver, Non-CDL is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.


Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.Performs other related duties as assigned.#CM-ALL
