Loss Control Engineer Sr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loss Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to evaluate client operations, identify potential risks, and recommend effective loss prevention strategies. You will work closely with underwriters, brokers, and portfolio companies to enhance safety protocols and reduce exposure to loss.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments for clients across various industries within the Private Equity portfolio.Analyze operational processes, equipment, and facilities to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with insurance brokers and underwriters to develop tailored loss control programs that align with client needs.Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, risk exposures, and mitigation recommendations.Provide training and guidance to clients on best practices in safety and loss prevention.Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and emerging risks to ensure compliance and proactive risk management.Support claims investigations by providing technical expertise related to loss causes and prevention.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.Proven experience in loss control, risk engineering, or safety consulting within the insurance or risk management industry.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and other relevant safety codes.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex operational risks.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, brokers, and internal teams.Ability to travel as needed to client sites.
