What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind some of our most valuable customer relationships. As a Desk-Based Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of high-tier and complex customers. Your mission? Build trust, add value, and make sure our customers stay happy, engaged, and growing with Colt.

Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with both existing and newly onboarded customers Proactively upselling Colt’s Voice and Network solutions to hit sales and growth targets Managing contract renewals, reducing churn, and ensuring customer retention Collaborating closely with local Account Managers to deliver a seamless customer experience Setting clear expectations, guiding customers through every step of their journey Positioning Colt as a trusted technology partner by sharing relevant insights Coordinating customer onboarding using a mix of digital and personal touchpoints Delegating tasks effectively and working closely with internal support teams Handling upsells, renewals, and escalations with a commercial and customer-first mindset Tracking account performance and hitting personal revenue and retention goals

 

What We’re Looking For

You’re a relationship builder, a problem solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You know how to listen, understand business needs, and guide customers toward the right solutions—while hitting your own sales targets along the way.

Here’s what makes you a great fit:

Solid experience in sales and/or account management (intermediate to advanced level) A natural ability to build strong, customer-centric relationships Confident communication skills—written and verbal Fluent in German and English (both are mandatory) A proactive mindset, with energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to go the extra mile Strong numerical and analytical thinking, with the ability to turn insights into action Curious and tech-savvy—you’re eager to learn about our products and solutions Well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks or complex accounts A team player with a positive attitude, strong ownership, and resilience
