Logistics & Travel Coordinator
Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. The Logistics & Travel Coordinator supports the planning and execution of travel and logistics for U.S. and GPH personnel. This role ensures compliance with DoD and local regulations while managing arrangements for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries across multiple project locations. This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country. This position is contingent upon the award of the contract Key Responsibilities: + Arrange travel for U.S. and PH staff, ensuring compliance with DoD Foreign Clearance Guide and local travel policies + Coordinate logistics for training events, site visits, and equipment deliveries + Work with travel agencies, airlines, and vendors to secure cost-effective transportation and lodging + Manage travel documentation, itineraries, approvals, and records + Handle visa applications, foreign clearances, and travel authorizations + Support mobilization and demobilization logistics for project personnel + Prepare travel cost estimates and assist with tracking travel-related budgets + Maintain and distribute current travel policies and procedures + Respond to emergency travel changes, delays, or cancellations + Assist in the procurement and shipment of training materials and equipment Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Business, or Administration At least 3 years of experience managing international travel and logistics + Familiarity with DoD travel rules and foreign clearance requirements + Strong knowledge of international travel procedures and visa processes + Excellent organizational and communication skills + Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel coordination tools + Able to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced, dynamic environments + High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in teams Visit our career site https://planate.com/careers/ to know more about our other openings.
