This is a rare opportunity to join **Carrier Transicold's North American Truck, Trailer, and Rail refrigeration solutions** team as a **direct hire** . As a **Logistics Team Leader,** you will be responsible for supporting the outbound materials operation in a distribution environment.
This is a **Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm** with paid **overtime,** **onsite role** in **Jefferson, GA** . The schedule may change based on business conditions.
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead employees on the floor to ensure quality work, solve problems, communicate effectively, and consistently
+ Support the materials operations/process in the warehouse
+ Secure trailer(s) for loading/unloading
+ Handle documents and resolve “turn backs”
+ Process Ontime Shipment & Delivery (OS&D) and file freight claims
+ Follow standard work processes and Operational Excellence standards
+ Complete PIV equipment inspections, preparation, and execution
+ Utilize and enter material transactions in the JDE tool
+ Follow standard work processes and work instructions
+ Recommend improvements, strive for efficient and effective implementations
+ Train new employees, manage workflow,w and coordinate resources/manpower
+ Perform EH&S audits, 5S audits and PIV observations
+ Comply with UOI’s/POI’s affecting materials
**Basic Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 1+ year experience in Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV) driving and eligible for certification
+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in operations or warehouse
+ Able to bend, stoop, stand, and squat, stand for extended periods, along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
+ English written and oral communication skills
+ Intermediate to advanced computer skills
+ Strong leadership skills
+ Knowledge to perform incident investigations, EH&S audits, 5S audits, and PIV observations.
+ Effective problem solver and communicator
