Ecolab is seeking an EDI Quality & Monitoring Logistics Analyst to join the organization at our site in Buenos Aires. This role will oversee monitoring and EDI quality to drive efficiencies, reduce errors, improve data quality and standardize processes. The analyst will be key in monitoring critical systems to ensure seamless global logistics operations.
Main Responsibilities
Monitor & analyze system functions such as EDI (e.g. 210, 990,214), to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and proactive issue resolutionMonitor visibility data flows and data completeness within the FourKites platformProactively identify, troubleshoot, and escalate system errors to ensure minimal disruptionsStandardize system monitoring processes by ensuring consistent execution of tasks across locationsCollaborate with local and global logistics teams to streamline processes & implement best practicesUse data insights to optimize system performance and drive continuous improvementSystems to be Monitored
EDI Processing (Electronic Data Interchange)EDI transactions facilitate seamless data exchange with external logistics partners (e.g., 3PLs)Data flows from our internal TMS to Fourkites to ensure data flow and accuracy for all Ecolab shipmentsThe analyst will monitor EDI processing errors from SAP EBS to 3PL-WMS, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of transaction failuresResponsibilities include tracking EDI failures (across all formats), identifying root causes, and working with internal teams or external partners to correct both timeliness and quality of EDI in a timely mannerBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreePrevious work experience in logistics, transportation, or operationsAbility to quickly learn and adapt to complex information systemsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or TransportationPrevious experience in working with external carrier partners on EDI Quality and TimelinessFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS), SAP EBS, or UC4 job processingExperience with error resolution, root cause analysis, and performance trackingOur Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & Belonging
