**1.- JOB OBJECTIVES**
Responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement for logistics in the Southern Cone region conducting detailed spend, cost and market analysis and a structured approach to tendering and negotiating with suppliers. Develop and maintain vendor relationships including tracking and analysis of vendor spend and performance. While keeping an elevated engagement and alignment with our internal stakeholders and external partners to address the top business priorities, optimize the supply of these services and address cost reduction opportunities.
**2.- JOB EXPECTATIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for Logistics (Warehousing, Transportation & Customization) aligned with the organization's goals.
+ Apply spend analytics best practices, and do frequent deep dives in the assigned categories.
+ Update annual Supplier Segmentation in the category and risk management
+ Monitor crude oil/fuel costs and identify opportunities for cost savings or optimization. The Demand Svcs Assoc. Mgr will work closely with CS&L, finance organizations to develop budgets, track expenses, and report on procurement performance.
+ Follow the Global Procurement governance in all projects, CRMC (Contract Risk Management Committee) approvals, eSourcing tools, Supplier Code of Conduct sign off, etc.
+ Support to evaluate and recommend technologies or practices based on the business priorities. Follow Stakeholder engagement best practices to better understand the business needs and align on resources and priorities.
+ Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with key vendors. They will ensure compliance with contractual terms, monitor supplier performance, and resolve any issues.
+ Organize & follow up to QBR Meetings with top suppliers.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and sustainability initiatives.
+ Engage senior leaders in the Division to present project status, market update and escalate issues when needed.
+ Stay updated with industry/logistics developments and best practices to effectively manage the organization's procurement strategy. Organize benchmark visits.
**3.- SKILLS EXPECTED**
+ Strong Business Analysis. Using business tools and information systems when solving problems and making decisions. Using data to support recommendations.
+ Negotiation skills. Planning and anticipation, demonstrates professionalism in all business settings and shows ability to control emotions, mannerisms, and communication style.
+ Teamwork and Relationship building. Being a team player when interacting with stakeholders and peers. Able to manage relationships at all levels of the organization
+ Project management skills & Setting Priorities.
+ Ability to work cross functional and cross regional.
+ Keep a proactive and dynamic attitude. Take leadership on key initiatives.
**4.- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Min 3-5 years in the supply chain and/or procurement
+ High knowledge and experience on the Southern Cone Transportation Market (rates and negotiations)
+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or relevant field.
