Credence has an immediate need for Logistics Support, Equipment Specialist supporting our Fixed Wing Branch at Robins AFB, GA. The Fixed Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WIUA) provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, modification, and sustainment support for all SOF C-130 variant weapon systems and subsystems supporting five USAF Major Commands (MAJCOMs). The Lead Command for most of the AFLCMC/WIUA activities is Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), which falls under the unified command of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). AFLCMC/WIUA also supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and Air National Guard (ANG). The Rotary Wing Branch (AFLCMC/WIUB) provides cradle-to-grave acquisition and sustainment for all USAF helicopters. The branch coordinates acquisition, modification, and lifecycle sustainment to include avionics, depot maintenance, repair, spares procurement, engineering support, configuration control, and reliability/maintainability and obsolescence programs for fielded systems. AFLCMC/WIUB supports Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Reserve Center (AFRC), Air National Guard (ANG), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), and the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Will provide technical order support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of acquisition/sustainment and logistics services in support of the customer's mission.Will manage Technical Order (TO) content by evaluating and coordinating Recommended Changes (RCs), deficiency reports, accident/incident reports and other source data. This includes preparing and submitting Publication Change Requests (PCRs) in conjunction with program engineers and ensuring approved changes will not negatively affect system or equipment Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) in accordance with AFMCI 63-1201.Will manage the content of assigned Technical Orders (TOs) and apply the most appropriate Distribution Statement (AFI-61-201 & DoDI 5230.24) to control the content’s dissemination.Will conduct cataloging actions for new and existing systems, participate in provisioning conferences and assigning maintenance factors to items.Will prepare Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) to correct problems or improve products driven by hardware or software change. This includes initiating Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Computer Program Identification Number (CPIN) requirements, and developing implementation plans and schedules updates.Will manage supply and material stock supplies in support of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) using D043 Catalog Management Data to complete 918 requisition work packages. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Active Secret security clearanceBachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD or other United States Government (USG) ISR/SOF Organizations.OR, seven (7) to twelve (12) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.Has the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing.Typically works independently and applies the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise.Has the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program / project guidelines.Work is performed independently or under the oversight of more senior Contractor employees. (Program Office and Staff Level Support interface).
