Logistics Support Associate

We are looking for a Logistics Support Associate to join our Group and support our teams in driving World Class Excellence within our Temperature+Systems Production Center. Within T+SP, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.

We’re looking for a dynamic individual who excels at logistics and material handling to drive our production success. 

 

Which tasks will you perform?  
You will:  

Perform the receiving process from unloading trucks to entering goods receipt into SAP in a timely manner   Conduct basic receiving inspections using gauges to measure and verify the receipt of correct components.   Administer logistics data including entering non-conformance information, posting goods movements, filing receiving paperwork, entering material traceability reports in a timely manner.    Operate material handling equipment as needed to unload trucks and move materials.   Actively collaborate with supply chain team on material issue resolution   Cycle count to verify correct quantity at incoming and in inventory   Release Kan ban orders and support organization of materials in inventory   Supports material and order movement throughout the production process  

All other duties as assigned

 

What do we expect from you?   

You:  

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 0–2 years related experience or equivalent training. Receiving and quality experience required.  Able to multi-task and be self-motivated  Able to use hand tools, power tools and operate machines  Able to follow written and verbal directions  Can read and understand basic drawings, diagrams, charts and production orders  Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions  Able to work with basic Microsoft Office applications  Being Self-Motivated and relying on own strengths to accomplish goals.  Ability to build team through respect and taking justifiable risks.  Implementing feedback when areas of need are identified.  Continuously increase knowledge of assigned area to support in prioritizing goals.
