The Logistics Supervisor at Aramex is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the logistics team at Aramex, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods. This role involves managing logistics processes, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations to optimize supply chain performance.
Job DescriptionOperations:
Prepare, update and submit monthly reports on metrics and productivity measurements. Identify and analyse performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss and delays. Efficient management of Special Equipment Requests from clients. Co-ordination, organisation, administration and supervision of staff and shift patterns. Ensure that the Shipment request is closed within a time frame of 48 hrs. Manage and supervise stock counts. Monitor the quality check and validation of shipments to the client. Cycle count daily. Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer queries and concerns. Analyze the daily and monthly reports. Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically. Ensure the maintenance of MHE and all equipment is done on time.People:
Manage, direct and supervise a team of warehouse associates. Conduct timely Performance Appraisals in line with global process. Set KPIs and ensure the targets are met. Plan and manage staff vacation effectively to avoid pressure in workload. Train and develop the team members to deliver excellent performance all the time. Direct, support and delegate tasks as appropriate to each team member. Initiate open communication and brainstorming of ideas. Provide support to the team with continuous feedback, regular communication and updates on relevant issues. Monitor the processes of customer support in terms of the quality of service provided by the team members as per the set KPIs. Supervise and improve daily operations (Receiving, Picking, Inventory, and Delivery) in line with agreed operational plans and targets. Customer: Communicate any updates or implementation of new processes developed for the SLB operation. Resolve any issues by meeting regularly with SLB counterpart. Participate in monthly service quality meetings where issues, complaints and concerns are discussed and resolved. Manage and fulfil the requirements of specific customer contract. Respond and resolve customer related queries and concerns on a timely basis. Respond to operational requests in coordination with SLB operational teams. Prepare and update KPI reports. Maintain inventory accuracy.Finance

Ensuring Outbound KPIs are met successfully - Picking, Routing, Delivery & QC.Job Requirements - Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry is highly desirable. Ability to motivate and develop the team.
