Logistics Specialist
GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB). Cross-training is required and will act as Instructor/Controllers (I/Cs) to conduct simulation operator training and provide OTS and helpdesk support for all exercises.

HOW A LOGISTICS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Responsibilities will include property accountability, inventory management, and asset trackingMaintain accurate records of inventoryAssist customer in maintaining auditability of accountable property, will help develop metrics, maintain compliance reports, sending notifications, develop/maintain/update SOP'sAbility to use good judgment and personal initiative in recognizing appropriate action to be taken for completion of tasks is a mustCreate a culture of accountability and continuous improvementAssists customer with shipping and receiving, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all shipmentsAssist the facilities manager with planning for routine scheduling, exercises and special eventsFoster a positive work environmentPerform other duties as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of related experienceRequired Experience: 4+ years of related experience; military experience preferredRequired Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Command Supply Discipline Program; Knowledge of other Army or DoD regulations and industry compliance standards; Knowledge of other supply chain management softwareSecurity Clearance: SECRET clearance requiredRequired Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; superb organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite of toolsLocation: On Customer SiteGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:

The likely salary range for this position is $60,174 - $70,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location.
