Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is entrusted with the responsibility of executing customer vehicle relocation service orders and overseeing all supporting business operations. This role is pivotal in managing customer order execution, maintaining consistent communication with staff, independent contractors, and contacts for pickup and delivery through email and telephone. The specialist is also responsible for ensuring accurate data management in each order tracked in the CRM system.
ResponsibilitiesManage execution of customer orders, ensuring timely coordination and scheduling of vehicle pickup and delivery while adhering to customer instructions.Efficiently execute orders by linking multiple orders and overseeing completion of additional services such as vehicle detailing, titling/registration, and storage placement.Communicate effectively via email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and delivery contacts, escalating issues to management as necessary.Update CRM activities and notes promptly, ensuring accurate data maintenance after each communication and uploading necessary photos and scanned documents.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable DOT regulations, as well as Federal, State, and Local laws.In the absence of management, calculate and offer flat fees on orders by emailing bid sheets to independent contractors.Daily management of storage facility operations, verifying vehicle numbers using VIN and order confirmations.Check vehicles in and out of the lot, reviewing conditions and noting any damage or issues, and taking inventory of items left in vehicles.Move vehicles in and out of the lot, securing them in the storage facility upon drop-off and staging them for pickup.Account for all cars on the lot, ensuring vehicles start properly and communicating issues to headquarters before reactivation.Essential SkillsAbility to learn and utilize all company systems and equipment.Outstanding customer service skills, providing up-to-date information to customers.Time management skills with the ability to monitor team dashboard and complete tasks efficiently.Confident, assertive, and decisive action-taking ability, with responsibility and accountability for position requirements.On-site presence is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma.Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment with multitasking abilities and detail orientation.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with high attention to detail and accuracy.Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Excel, data entry, and CRM proficiency.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Six months of customer service experience, inventory experience is a plus.Typing speed of at least 37 WPM.Work Environment
The position is based in Orlando, FL, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role is on-site and involves interaction with independent contractors, requiring comfort in a fast-paced environment similar to Outside Operations roles. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
