The role be first point of contact for the Logistics service providers and internal stakeholders and managing high volume of inbound international Air, Courier & Ocean shipments into site . This role will also be working very closely with Material planner, CGSA team and Warehouse operations on daily basis **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Managing shipments (FCL, LCL, Air, and Courier) from Global Suppliers for on time delivery to the Cummins South Pac Sites in Australia + Shipment coordination with internal stakeholders and freight forwarders on delivery schedule + Ensure full set of documentation of shipments is in compliance with Customs regulations before import into the site + Working closely with the Quality team to review the damage to receiving goods + Manage shipment claims related to forwarders' damage or shipment discrepancy and liaise with insurance providers for claims reporting + Maintain the Master data tracker to ensure that all the shipments are up to date and visible to stakeholders + Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans. + Execute the daily operational logistics processes **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role, you will need the following:** + 4 Plus years work experience in an Import logistics role would be preferred + Experience in managing high volume of inbound and outbound flow + Good Knowledge of Import/Export shipping procedures and documentation will be critical + Experience using Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI would be preferred **QUALIFICATIONS** Good Knowledge of Import/Export shipping procedures and documentation will be critical **Job** Logistics **Organization** Cummins Inc. **Role Category** Hybrid **Job Type** Exempt - Experienced **ReqID** 2412591 **Relocation Package** No
