Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers. **About the role** You’ll work closely with the wider supply chain function and our supply chain partners (3PLs and warehouse) ensuring KPI’s delivery (service and cost). You’ll work closely with Customer Services, Supply Planners, Logistics managers, Supply Finance and our selected 3PLs. You’ll be involved in Warehousing, overflow operations, operational performance review and budgeting, logistics projects. **Your responsibilities** + Work with external teams from our 3PLs/warehouse/ transport partners to overcome challenges and facilitate a can-do mentality + Be a proactive resource in process improvement initiatives by challenging accepted principles and focusing on adding value to the business + Identify initiatives to improve the operation and deliver on cost reductions and operational efficiencies + Ensure inventory is synced between ERPs + Reconciliation post operations at end of month + Investigates logistics problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions + Manages and oversees the damages process with finance, destruction provider and 3PL ensuring accurate reporting, disposal compliance and gross adjustment reporting and transaction integrity + Manage overflow inventory with a focus on 100% delivery and minimized costs + Key user of SAP for the logistics department trouble shooting system issues and ensuring system integrity + Supporting the review and analysis of monthly operational spend + Manage invoice validation and provide ad hoc administrative support + Ensure operational excellence to standard operating procedures + Ability to source, interpret and analyse data for business decision making **The experience we're looking for** + Degree preferably in Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance or related area + 2+ years’ experience preferably in FMCG + In depth understanding of warehousing & transport operations + Demonstrable Business / Systems analysis experience.
