The Logistics Specialist will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the warehousing and Shipping functions for both operations and engineering materials. A Logistics Specialist will be required to manage warehousing and inventory tasks. The day-to-day responsibilities listed below are necessary to meet program costs and schedule requirements. **What You Will Do** + Meeting on time deliverables including program costs and scheduling requirements. + Organize transportation activities, including managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging services as necessary + Coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable policies and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) + Maintain property accountability records, oversee the receipt, utilization, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material + Prepare purchase requisitions and submit orders of material for different programs + Perform annual physical inventories to ensure 100% accountability + Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways + Communicating directly with internal and external customers + Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience. + Experience with Logistics, Packaging, and or Supply Chain. + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
