The Logistics Specialist will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the warehousing and Shipping functions for both operations and engineering materials. A Logistics Specialist will be required to manage warehousing and inventory tasks. The day-to-day responsibilities listed below are necessary to meet program costs and schedule requirements.
**What You Will Do**
+ Meeting on time deliverables including program costs and scheduling requirements.
+ Organize transportation activities, including managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging services as necessary
+ Coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable policies and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
+ Maintain property accountability records, oversee the receipt, utilization, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material
+ Prepare purchase requisitions and submit orders of material for different programs
+ Perform annual physical inventories to ensure 100% accountability
+ Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
+ Communicating directly with internal and external customers
+ Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
+ Experience with Logistics, Packaging, and or Supply Chain.
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis
+ Ability to operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading freight.
+ 2 years' experience in a logistics, supply chain or related field
+ Attention to detail
+ Strong time management skills
+ Experience presenting to large groups
+ Experience in packaging, transportation limitations, and Hazardous regulations

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
