Logistics Specialist

Job Duties · Assess, audit, and propose revision of methods of operation, policies and procedures, forms, reports, material handling, alterations in equipment or office layout, simplification, computer systems, or other changes to increase production or improve standards. · Make recommendations concerning organizational structure to avoid duplication or overlapping functions. · Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. · Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP). · Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements, including GMP, DOT, and IATA. · Collaborate with internal departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Procurement to meet production timelines. · Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of analysis. · Monitor and resolve logistics issues, delays, or discrepancies. · Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and warehouse operations. Requirements · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred. · 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment. · Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. · Strong organizational and communication skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.45 - $25.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
