Logistics Specialist – Friday to Monday Schedule (10 hr Shifts)

This role requires a self-motivated logistics professional with strong multitasking and communication skills. Key responsibilities include managing weekend logistics processes, high-volume dispatching, and serving as the main point of contact for customers, carriers, and technicians. Experience with TMS or EAMs (asset managing tools) Microsoft Office, and prior office-based logistics or dispatching work is essential. This stand-alone role demands strong decision-making, attention to detail, and customer service skills. Schedule is Friday–Monday (four 10-hour shifts), with in-office training for at least two months before transitioning too fully remote. Compensation is $60,000 annually.

Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, load consolidation, and the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and utilize SWI’s (Standard Work Instructions) for fleet maintenance / repair activities
Review and approve invoices for payment
Continually review, seek feedback, and optimize resources, parts, and technicians
Update and maintain the status of work orders in EAM system
Provide administrative direction to maintain project costs within budget
Support team members to ensure responsibilities and assigned projects are completed
Provide regular recommendations on future steps to improve predictive maintenance on the fleet
Maintain relationships with Vendors and Suppliers
KPI development for maintenance trends and spend
Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Train and/or lead Maintenance Planners
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
4 years’ experience in a repair coordination environment or relevant certification
Knowledge of Over the Road refrigeration units
Thorough knowledge preventative fleet maintenance
Experience with transportation management software and EAM software
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay Range:$46,700.00 - $78,800.00
