The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Logistics Specialist, Journeyman to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), and working in Doral, FL.  This position is contingent upon award.  
 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the logistics management processes in alignment USSOUTHCOM objectives. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of logistics support requirements across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). 


Responsibilities:

Ensures detailed information is captured and reported to logistics senior management 

Assists with coordination of vehicle operations services in support of IT and ancillary equipment logistics throughout the AOR 

Tracks use of required software licenses 

Tracks and audits hardware 

Participates in transition-in activities to support logistics and to help resolve tickets until transfer from incumbent service provider 

Maintains maintenance agreements for hardware 

Maintains records to comply with government audit requirements 

Supports the routine updates and accuracy of the Access Information Log and develops Warehouse Operations and Transportation Log  

Ensures configuration management processes are in place and documented, and operational drawings are updated and maintained  

Tracks USSOUTHCOM’s IT and ancillary equipment in the Asset Management and Tracking System  

Maintains software library  

Updates and maintains deliverables for mobile device management and Defense Reutilization Marketing Office Log 

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments 

Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems 



Qualifications:
Required: 

US citizen with active Secret security clearance 

8+ years of experience in IT Logistics roles 

Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders 

Experience conducting warehouse inventories and asset management procedures 

Material tracking and acquisition records management experience

Familiarity with import/export requirements for material shipping 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) experience


Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Technology Management, Logistics or related field 

Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise with distributed warehousing and multiple acquisition and sourcing streams. 

Familiarity working with hand tools, fork lifts and other material movement equipment.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
