The Logistics Routing Specialist in Denver, CO is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving delivery, sales, and merchandising routes. This role ensures routing plans are both efficient and resilient while supporting service expectations, balanced workloads, and positive experience for frontline employees. By partnering cross-functionally, this role drives both daily operational excellence and long-term routing strategy.

This position reports to the Logistics Manager.

What You'll Be Brewing:  

Delivery Routing Execution (50%) Manage the daily routing process in BizStride, including order integration, optimization, and finalizing of 85+ delivery routes daily, supporting hundreds of retailers across the Denver metro area. Review and adjust routes to balance workload, service windows, geographic efficiency, and driver capacity.  Manage and coordinate off-day delivery requests into the daily routing session while minimizing disruption to the overall planned routing and service commitments. Work extensively within route accounting software (VIP) to analyze data, maintain accurate routing information, and manage order flow between routing and warehouse execution. Ensure routing decisions align with company standards, DOT regulations, and customer service expectations. Sales & Merchandising Routing (30%) Plan and maintain sales and merchandising routes across four channels: On-Premise, Off-Premise, Grocery, and Convenience Stores - ensuring efficiency, and effective territory coverage. Use BizStride to evaluate and optimize sales and merchandising routing structures, incorporating account changes, market growth, and territory adjustments. Collaborate with sales and merchandising leadership to align routing with business priorities, service expectations, and channel-specific demands. Conduct periodic reviews of sales and merchandising routes to identify inefficiencies, overlaps, and opportunities for improvement.  Continuous Improvement (20%) Leverage multiple data sources to conduct in-depth routing analysis, including AVP (Actual vs. Planned) performance, workload distribution, stop density, and service outcomes. Identify trends and outliers in routing data, translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance service.  Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, and Merchandising leaders to incorporate field feedback, with a focus on improving employee engagement, workload balance, and overall satisfaction with routing assignments. Develop and maintain short week and holiday routing plans across departments, ensuring efficiency and service standards are met. Work cross-functionally to ensure retailer account setup, changes, and closures are accurately reflected in routing systems. Partner with BizStride and internal stakeholders to continuously enhance system functionality and align the platform with evolving business needs. Collaborate with the Logistics Manager on cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to strengthen routing practices and support long-term operational goals. 

  

Key Ingredients:  

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business or related field is preferred. Prior experience in distribution, transportation, or consumer goods logistics is strongly preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and their application to delivery routing is preferred. This position is based in Denver, CO and requires candidates to reside locally. The regular schedule is 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday. You have a strong analytical mindset - comfortable working with AVP reporting, large data sets, and performance metrics to drive improvements. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience with routing and optimization software (such as BizStride, Roadnet, Omnitracs, or similar platforms) and distribution systems such as VIP are preferred. You love a challenge. At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $59,000 - $77,400 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
