CTG is seeking to fill a Logistics Representative opening for our client in South Charleston, WV. Location: South Charleston, WV Duration: 12 months Rate: $20-$26 per hour depending on experience Duties: Perform day-to-day Logistics Operations, including planning and scheduling transportation equipment and finished goods inventory in support of business demand. Utilize SAP, Scale Soft, Lab Manager, and SHIPCSX rail management systems to complete job functions effectively. Collaborate with Plant Production personnel and Plant Operators to ensure operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with truck carriers and CSX Railroad staff to coordinate shipments. Ensure adherence to shipping requirements with Distribution, R&D, and Laboratory. Recommend transportation changes to meet evolving customer requirements. Enter and maintain data in computer-based information systems. Post Goods Invoice (PGI) for truck and railcar shipments. Schedule and prepare documentation packages for truck and railcar shipments. Serve as back-up for truck and railcar coordinator during staff absences or vacations. Maintain office supplies and materials, including general office supplies, material, and product tags. Skills: Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations. Proficiency in SAP and related logistics management systems. Effective communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation scheduling, or supply chain operations preferred. Experience working with SAP and rail/truck shipping systems is highly desirable. Education: Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
