Logistics & Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a Logistics & Reporting Analyst to join our team. This position will divide its focus between operational reporting, following up on dangerous goods and logistics analytics. Through this function we intend to ensure compliance with regulations, improve carrier performance, support our network and finally enhance sales.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Analytics (45%) : Measure & manage performance and costs of our transport partners. This includes :

KPI management: Capture performance of in/outbound carriers in EMEA  vs SLA.

Develop Monthly & Quarterly Review process & data packs to drive management engagement and corrective actions plans.

Analyse trends and deviations to customer expectations and our delivery promise.

Input for RFQ process or selection of carriers, review and identify potential cost savings, contribute to execution of changes and implementation plan.

Administer & ensure accuracy of Transport Rate cards. Translate adjustment in rates by transporters into adjustments needed in warehouse or transport strategies.

Check and ensure the invoices from the carriers are in line with the rate cards, flag & report discrepancies 

Communication : Work in close contact with carriers, indirect procurement, finance and logistics team.

Follow up on Dangerous goods (35%): 

Follow up on REACH (incl.admin)

CLP labelling

MSDS

ADR arrangement where needed

Reporting (20%)

incl. extraction of data for different purposes & follow up on warehouse data incl. inventory follow up. (aging, fill rate, scrap...)

Ad-hoc reporting needed for compliance, sustainability and responsible operations.

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Supply chain management, or related field

Understanding of environmental regulations incl. REACH and other chemical regulatory frameworks

Certified knowledge of ADR regulations for dangerous goods transport is a plus.

Familiarity with logistics operations and transportation systems

Knowledge of environmental reporting requirements for packaging, tires etc is a plus

Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management abilities
