What you'll do We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an onsite Logistics Program Manager for the Government Team to join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, CA! As a Logistics Program Manager within Viasat’s Government Services Segment, you will be responsible for coordinating and integrating all facets of product sustainment support activities. You will work in a dynamic environment executing current contract scope and interfacing cross-functionally with other service teams, internal customers, program management, contracts, finance, suppliers, and external customers. You will be responsible for planning and implementing support strategies that coordinate all facets of support services, including Network Operations Center, Logistics Engineering, Reliability, across multiple Viasat locations. The day-to-day You will utilize your leadership ability to develop and refine support strategies, work with customers both external and internal, and to execute contract scope. You will use your bias for action and continuous improvement experience to drive timely results and highly efficient operational processes to best support expanding customer demands. You will utilize your aftermarket and logistics experience to implement sustainment strategies, engagement with customers, conduct sparing analyses, manage supply support, and support reliability, quality and product improvement initiatives. Your voice of the customer will ensure priorities are set within the business to ensure high operational and financial achievement for the business. What you'll need 1-5 years managing sustainment support and Aftermarket services Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Developing Product Support Plans and sustainment strategies. Managing supply support (service parts logistics, spares management). Overseeing product End-of-Life activities. Supporting proposals, statements of work, and basis of estimates. Experience with the DoD acquisition process and establishing sustainment contracts (international customer experience desired). Working on Programs of Record in support of Program Management Office activities. Proven ability to manage cross-functional Aftermarket Services Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Experience interfacing with suppliers for existing and alternate sources of supply, including contract terms (SOW / PSA). Accountable for Aftermarket financial performance. Facilitating communication between Programs and Operations (new product introduction, upgrades). Experience collaborating with customer service, product support, field service, test engineering, and reliability engineering teams. Experience organizing, developing, and leading cross-functional teams. Experience presenting to and interfacing with senior-level executives. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance. US Citizenship Required. What will help you on the job Active DOD Security Clearance. Prior Experience with Oracle ERP system Proficiency in Repair Management, Sustainment Support, Integrated Logistics Support, or Logistics Program Management. Strong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills. Proficient Program Management and customer interface skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Salary range $98,500.00 - $155,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $114,500.00- $171,500.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
