The Logistics Program Analyst II will provide support for managing current Air Force theater operations for logistics and sustainment support. Responsibility includes providing logistics support to the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). USAFCENT/A4 Logistics Directorate provides oversight for formulating policy and guidance for logistics plans, transportation, supply/fuels, and maintenance/munitions in deliberate (long-term) and crisis action planning (immediate), programming plans, agreements, base opening/closing, bed down support, Expeditionary Support Plans (ESP), and exercises. Specifically, the Logistics Program Analyst II will provide adaptive planning actions on a daily basis; perform Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) analysis of force requirements; execute contingency/exercise logistics support and coordinate movement of forces and BEAR/BOB assets aggregated in the Continental United States (CONUS) or abroad for movement; and coordinate and validate contingency requirements availability of assets on hand through the Executive Coordinating Agency. Responsibilities Perform Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) analysis of force requirements. Execute contingency/exercise logistics support and coordinate movement of forces and BEAR/BOB assets aggregated in the Continental United States (CONUS) or abroad for movement. Coordinate and validate the availability of contingency requirements and assets on hand through the Executive Coordinating Agency. Provide logistics WRM advice and assistance related to logistics modernization. Ensure the best use of scarce resources and elimination of unnecessary duplication. Review WRM recurring and nonrecurring program schedules and provide the program manager with recommended assets required to maintain program levels. Interpret and analyze reports from Rapid Query Tool (RQT) and other deployment tools. Provide assistance with execution of USAFCENT logistics support for USCENTCOM exercises, contingency, and wartime operations. Provide inputs, extracts, and interprets data from automated information systems. Plan and execute USAFCENT logistics support for USCENTCOM exercises, contingency, and wartime operations. Prepare program implementation plans and program inputs related to regulations, instructions, specifications, etc. Provide the USAFCENT Logistics Directorate expertise in exercise planning in support Support adaptive planning actions daily. Assist in administering development-based support and expeditionary site planning. Travel as directed to CONUS/CENTCOM AOR: Kuwait/Jordan/Saudi Arabia/UAE/QATAR. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years relevant experience in the past 3 years Experience gained in direct support of Air Force Plans Support preferred. Valid U.S Passport Secret Clearance is required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to travel as needed up to 40% of the time. In-depth knowledge/background in logistics management to include transportation, supply, and limited contract management Excellent research and analytical skills Technical expertise with the interpersonal skills necessary to cooperate, motivate, and coordinate with the other teams; to keep initiatives focused; to assess the effectiveness of efforts and programs; and to adjust programs and priorities accordingly. Ability to perform short-notice TDY deployments to meet worldwide operational/mission requirements Ability to ensure the best use of scarce resources and elimination of unnecessary duplication. Ability to conduct training for staff functionals, subordinates, and tenant units. Ability to advise senior personnel on logistics matters affecting mission accomplishment in the AOR. Ability to identify and address potential logistics problems to minimize impact to the mission and expedite resolution of logistics issues as they occur. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision as well as in conjunction with multiple personnel in the fulfillment of said duties Strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor.
