This is an onsite **full-time position, Monday through Friday** . **Remote work is not available** , and **relocation assistance is not provided** . Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the work location.
**Who will you be working with?**
Our best-in-class Warehouse and Logistics team combines knowledge of customers’ processes with deep domain expertise and tenured experience to deliver unparalleled logistics services for our customers both internal and external. You’ll interact daily with key stakeholders to support both customer and internal operations.
**How will you make a difference?**
As a member of the Nordco Logistics team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the inbound/outbound movement of goods and resources. This includes scheduling shipments, deliveries, and transportation logistics to ensure efficient and timely operations.
**What do we want to know about you?**
+ **High school diploma or GED required**
+ **3 years of experience** in a **logistics, shipping, or transportation coordination** role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
+ Experience coordinating **domestic and international shipments** using carriers such as **FedEx, UPS, DHL, and LTL freight providers**
+ Familiarity with **trailer scheduling, dock coordination** , and **carrier pickups**
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
+ Ability to be a self-starter and adapt to changing priorities
+ Comfortable using logistics software and ERP systems
+ Understanding of warehouse and transportation management
+ Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulations
+ Strong math skills, including ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ Create and maintain shipment and delivery schedules using logistics software (3PL)
+ Generate shipping labels and documentation (BOLs, customs forms) for domestic and international shipments
+ Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely shipping
+ Track shipments through internal/external portals and ERP systems
+ Ensure compliance with customer routing guides and carrier-specific requirements
+ Audit and correct freight bills; investigate discrepancies and suggest cost-saving opportunities
+ Process claims for damaged or lost shipments
+ Coordinate **trailer pickups and drop-offs** , ensuring timely dock scheduling
+ Provide shipment updates and resolve logistical issues as they arise
+ Support receiving and inventory control as needed
+ Participate in cross-functional training and assist with general office duties
**Additional Position Details:**

**What about the physical demands of the job?**
Work is primarily light duty and requires the ability to regularly lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds. The position is mostly sedentary and involves frequent use of hands and fingers. Close vision and verbal communication are required.
The work environment includes typical office and shop conditions with occasional exposure to noise, fumes, or airborne particles. Normal work hours are scheduled by the supervisor and may vary occasionally.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which training will be provided if necessary.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between
$43,400.00-$57,500.00
The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com .
