Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Logistics Operation Specialist in our Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
You will be responsible to oversee all aspects of logistics operation and executing logistics tasks in compliance with company policies.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Support and coordinates logistics activities in projects, to contribute to the success of the project by accurate and on-schedule customer supply. Tracks the execution of the project schedule, including milestones, and project-specific adaptation and optimization of schedules. Conducts logistics activities on project sites to increase customer satisfaction and ensures the project's success by accurate and on-schedule coordination of material handling. Maintains, updates, and communicates relevant information (regarding master data, delivery schedules, stock-and-order status, and contract information) from suppliers, procurement, and logistics service providers. Completes and communicates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability for Project Logistics Management. Documents and processes of complaints or transport damages, in cooperation with other accountable stakeholders (PLM, Purchase, Insurance, Controlling, Quality, Engineering), and propose and implement remedial measures with transport service providers. Consult with the Thai Government for Import & Export License requirements and advise users and customers on the products requested import and export licensesUse your skills to move the world forward.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional experience in project logistics, supply chain coordination, or related roles, preferably within industrial or engineering sectors. Experience working with international logistics and government import/export regulations. Strong understanding of logistics processes, including material handling, delivery scheduling, and transport coordination. Proficient in project scheduling and milestone tracking. Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Ability to manage and resolve transport-related issues, including damage claims and complaints. Knowledge of Thai import/export laws and licensing requirements, with experience consulting government agencies. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to timely and accurate delivery.
