We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Logistics Manager to join our South Florida Ventures team. In this role you will partner closely with the SVP, Operations, Finance, and other Operations leadership, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods, while maintaining safety standards and cost-effectiveness.

This role is based in our Fort Lauderdale Office

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

Implement and maintain inventory control systemsOversee storage optimization, and inventory accuracyConduct regular inventory audits and reconciliationsManage inventory tracking systems and documentationOptimize storage space utilization

Operations Management

Schedule warehouse staff for warehouse operationsImplement process improvements for increased efficiencyOversee equipment maintenance and utilization

Shipping and Receiving

Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments at the warehouseCoordinate loading and unloading operations at the warehouseEnsure proper documentation of all shipmentsManage relationships with carriers and logistics partnersVerify accuracy of shipped and received goods

Safety and Compliance

Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocolsEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standardsConduct regular safety training and meetingsMaintain emergency response proceduresMonitor and maintain proper equipment safety standards

Cost Control Management

Develop and manage warehouse operating budgetMonitor and control labor costsOptimize resource allocation and utilizationIdentify and implement cost-saving measuresTrack and analyze operational expenses

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Proven experience in warehouse managementStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency in warehouse management systemsKnowledge of safety regulations and best practicesStrong analytical and cost management capabilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsFluently Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Performance Objectives

Maintain high inventory accuracy ratesReduce operational costs while maintaining efficiencyImprove warehouse productivity metricsEnsure zero safety incidentsMeet or exceed shipping and receiving targets
