General Summary:

              Duties, and responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities for district warehouses and stores.Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization.Direct and review work plan for assigned staff.Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditionsMonitor storeroom and warehouse material usageProvide assistance in warehouse space utilization by designing facility layouts to achieve maximum storage efficiencyDevelop delivery schedules and strategiesMaintain accurate records and files of inventory usageMeet with staff to identify and resolve problemsSelect, train, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnelImplement discipline and termination proceduresPrepare and present staff reports and other correspondence as appropriate and necessaryAssist with budget preparation and administrationCoordinate warehousing and storeroom activities with outside agencies and organizationsDiscover new trends and innovations in the fields of warehousing and storage programs.

             

              Experience

Warehouse and Freight handling process background.Ensure and maintain inventory accuracy by planning CC tasks.Drive for Process Improvements through system enhancements / automation projects.Operating expenditure and Capex planningDrive operation team to meet target/KPI

             

              Qualification

Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineeringDecision Making: Able to consider the relative cost and benefits of potential actions to decide on the best oneCommunication Skill: Excellent communication skill ( both written and verbal) to effectively negotiate with carriers, suppliers, custom brokers, and customersSystem Evaluation: Identify measures or indicators of system performance that are relative to the goals of the systemComplex Problem Solving: Able to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solution.Critical Thinking: Need to know how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Logistics or related work experience.
