TAKE ON: 2026

Applications are now open for our 2026 Logistics Degree Apprenticeship!

We're seeking the future leaders of our distribution network to join us in January 2026.

This 3-year program, based at our warehousing complex in South Elmsall (Pontefract), West Yorkshire, offers an exciting immersion into the world of NEXT and our partner brands. You'll gain hands-on experience in various areas of the business, from picking to projects, through rotational placements and masterclasses.

Our bespoke development course will cover key topics such as Management & Leadership Practice, Using & Presenting Information, and Technology, Innovation & Change, preparing you for a successful career at NEXT.

You will start out learning the basics of the logistics operation and how we get parcels to our customers before moving onto learning about what it takes to be a Manager at NEXT.

As part of the programme, we have partnered with Corndel meaning you will graduate with a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship BSc (Hons) Applied Business Management degree.

The aim is you will progress into a position as one of our Assistant Site Managers or a similar level role within NEXT’s distribution network.

About you:

We ask that you have gained a minimum of 112 UCAS points but don't already hold a degree, have a minimum Level 4 in Maths & English GCSEs and you’re enthusiastic to begin your career within warehousing and logistics.

Having a driving licence and access to your own car is desirable so you can visit our locations around the UK. You will need to be happy to work any shift pattern as you will be expected to change your working times as you experience the different areas of the business.

As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable building relationships with the colleagues you will meet at all levels across the business.  You will enjoy decision making and problem solving, and be keen to take on new challenges.

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.  We have assessed this role and do not consider that we would be able to sponsor a successful candidate under the Skilled Worker route as the role does not meet the relevant Home Office criteria; therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate right to work without NEXT sponsorship.
