Responsibilities Follow all guidelines within the Rolling Stock programKeep warehouse clean, organized, and damage freeUnderstand and abide by all set standards and guidelines within the Shipping DepartmentAny other tasks or projects as assignedLoad / unload and troubleshoot logistics equipment (Wrappers / Dock Locks / Garage Doors / Battery Charging Stations)Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policiesAbility to Warehouse product safety maximizing warehouse spaceTake and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment coursesSexual HarassmentSafety AbsolutesCode of Business EthicsGMP/HACCP Allergen TrainingActive Shooter 2.0Culture of InclusionPartnering for the Planet 2Take and score highly on all GDC Training course deemed necessary by Safety

AUTHORITIES

Cycle count accurately to correct inventory errorsPick and load outbound shipments to customers without damage in a timely mannerMaintain an organized warehouseUnload shuttle trailers and deliveries from vendors and production areas Qualifications High school diploma / GED equivalentAbility to work any schedule that is flexible for workload demandsProven ability to lead and understand all customers for each product lineStrong organizational skills and proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneouslyAble to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the buildingExcellent attendance recordExcellent reading comprehensionCompetency in simple mathProven competency in written and verbal communicationAbility to problem solve and execute solutionsAbility to effectively use a computer

 

REQUIREMENTS

Must have Fork Truck Operating LicenseMust be able to lift 30 lbs multiple times a dayPrior DC Link / MEP experience preferredAbility to climb on and off a forklift safely and without assistance at a minimum of 30 times an hourAbility to safely operate a forklift in high traffic, low clearance areas while not posing a safety risk to othersMust not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousnessHearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms and horns on forkliftsStereoptic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater and ability to read 10-12 point font at a distance of 12-18 inchesAbility to lift 45 pounds over shoulder height a minimum of 10 times per hourAble to work in extremes of heat / coldAble to work independently in a potentially isolated area of the buildingVerbal communication adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in other areas of the complex Contact
