Mars Food & Nutrition is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Supply Chain team. This essential role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and execution of our outbound physical logistics operations, utilizing the SAP platform.

In this role, you'll make daily operational decisions for warehousing and distribution, managing the supply delivery from MFA to Metcash. Effective communication and updates within Metcash and our team are essential for success.

The role will be working between the customer’s head office in Macquarie Park, Mars Food Site at Wyong and work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Network Maintenance: Use SAP to manage routes, pricing, shipping, and zones, documenting all procedures.

Logistics Operations Expertise: Maintain logistics spreadsheets and listings, leveraging SAP knowledge.

Workflow Management: Handle customer/vendor workflows and logistics costings for new products.

Order Management: Align orders with Metcash demand, truck utilization, and pallet configurations.

Data Integrity Management: Ensure data accuracy for configurations, quantities, and rosters, managing DC orders.

Collaboration: Work with the customer service team to ensure full order supply and resolve issues with Sales and Supply associates.

Performance Monitoring: Maintain high case fill and service levels, providing weekly KPI summaries and analyses.

Sales and Demand Planning Support: Collaborate on updates and planning for events and activations.

New Product Development: Manage NPD setup, execution, and deactivation across the Metcash network.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of supply chain experience, including logistics operations.

Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector with a customer-facing role is a must.

A graduate with a relevant degree in supply chain or a related field (preferred).

Strong system functional capability and experience.

Demonstrated financial management skills.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
