This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a world-class team that values innovation and collaboration! **A day in the Life:** + Maintains min and max inventory levels + Orders materials to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. + Direct point of contact for the outsource kit vendor in the coordination of inventory materials. + Maintains temperature sensitive materials + Manages Inter and Intra Company Transfers + Prepares local purchase requisitions + Manages receipt of material + Actively solves problem supply related issues + Works with AP to resolve any receipt issues + Monitors expired stock and replenishes as necessary + Ensuring PPD part numbers are maintained + Acts as a point of contact for all materials related functions **Keys to Success:** **Education** High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification **Experience** Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience. In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. + 1+ years in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics preferred. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Excellent client and phone service skills + Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and laboratory principal's pre-analytical, analytic and post-analytic influences on specimens and results Intermediate level of computer literacy + Accurate data entry skills + Superior analytical, interpersonal and time management skills + Excellent verbal communications and customer service skills in the English language - additional languages are an advantage + Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support quality decision making **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** Thermo Fisher Scientific values the health and wellbeing of our employees.
