Logistics Coordinator
Job Description - Tech-Ops Logistics Coordinator

What You’ll Do Submit the teams daily order requests Receive incoming Deliveries Kit the delivered parts by job number Manage the teams Master Stock inventory with regular audits to ensure the documents reflect the shelves Maintain adequate consumable stock by reordering when part number quantities are low Request and handle quotes from vendors Create and update Purchase Orders Research vendors to determine part availability and or lowest price Supply Chain Management by overseeing the entire supply chain process to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Managing and coordinating transportation of goods by tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery. Inventory Management by conducting regular inventory audits, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize costs. Managing warehousing operations, including receiving, storing, and retrieving goods, and ensuring efficient and safe warehouse practices. Communication and collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to address logistical concerns and improve customer satisfaction. Ensuring compliance with relevant logistics policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. What You Need: Knowledge of logistics principles and practices by understanding transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations Analytical skills to analyze data and identify areas for improvement Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and be eager to learn new skills. Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Organizational skills to manage the inventory and spreadsheets to help ensure the projects stay on track Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to be able to analyze complex problems, make sound decisions, and implement solutions. Proficiency in relevant software and systems experience like logistics management software, inventory management systems, and ERP system Bonus Qualifications Experience with SAP Experience with Aircraft OEM’s
